The clinical team at seeds4change are drawn from a background of multi-disciplinary professionals, including:
Systemic Psychotherapists, consultants, counsellors, play therapy, supervisors, teachers and trainers, health and wellbeing coaches, social workers, peer youth mentors, foster carers and health visiting many of these individuals have lived experience of trauma and recovery.
These individuals all currently volunteer their services to our charity.
Katrina Redpath: Founder Director, Clinical lead supervisor and systemic family psychotherapist.
Joan Brown: Clinical supervisor and consultant systemic training clinic
Roy Heeley : Trustee Director (Chair) Coach and counsellor.
Jan Jasicki: Trustee Director and consultant systemic practitioner training.
Mark Langford: Trustee Director and Health and wellbeing recovery coach, systemic trainee.
Helen Lupton: Peer development coordinator, youth and Health and wellbeing recovery coach, systemic trainee.
Aldo Mauri: Clinical consultant supervisor training clinic.
Linda McGuire: Trustee Director and systemic trainee.
Myrena Mercken: Systemic Family psychotherapist in training .
Sharon Smith: Trustee Director.
Mike Vine: Clinical consultant and management supervisor.
The team represents members of the Association of family therapists (AFT) , British Association of Counsellors and psychotherapists(BACP), Play therapy UK (PTUK), Association of Christian counsellors (ACC) and United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapists (UKCP)
Parent and child/youth mentors are also being currently recruited to form part of our outsider witnessing team. To provide excellent services it is our priority to train and equip teams and individuals. Team members undergo a series of professional training events to equip them to support the therapeutic family work effectively as part of a pastoral community based team.
